Welcome to KFI Annual Gathering 2017

Krishnamurti Foundation India's Annual Gathering will be held this time at its Sahyadri Education Centre near Pune. The Gathering, which is open to all, is meant to help us re-examine our life and share our insights in the light of Krishnamurti's teachings. Talks, group dialogues, screening of Krishnamurti videos, and a cultural programme will be the chief features of the event.

  • Dates of the gathering :
November 11, 12, 13 and until forenoon of November 14 (Saturday to Tuesday).

  • Arrival and Departure :
Arrival of participants: 10th November (Friday) by evening.
Departure of participants: 14th November (Tuesday) after lunch. Those who would like to stay on for a day or two after the gathering may please write to us separately in advance.

  • Important Details :
  • Morning Tea will be served at the dormitories/rooms at 6 A.M.
  • Chanting from 0845- 0900 hrs on all days at the school auditorium.

    • Meal timings (at the dining hall) :
  • Breakfast - 08-00
  • Tea break - 10-30
  • Lunch - 12-30
  • Tea - 15-45
  • Dinner - 19-30

    • Evening walks starting Dining Hall premises on the first three days - 16:15 to 17:45 Hrs.

    • Participation Fee :
    Rs 3000/- for the entire programme. For foreign nationals the fee is USD 100. The charges will include participation fee, boarding, lodging and transport. Nature of accommodation: Dormitories with 4-6 beds in each, with bathrooms and toilets attached. In exceptional cases and for aged couples, a limited number of guest rooms with bath attached will be made available.

    Please note that a maximum of 150 participants will be accommodated by open registration, on a 'first come first serve' basis.

    Book Exhibition : Krishnamurti books and DVDs will be on sale at the junior auditorium from 16:15 - 17:45 Hrs on first two days and from 1445-1745 hrs on the third day.
